I saw Tracy transform the class from a majority of first time painters, to a class of artists, producing magnificent pieces of art. It was brilliant to see what she could do in three days, with the class. The impossible was possible and I painted the large Dahlia in oils. A medium I have never used and believed I could not work with. Tracy convinced and encouraged me and I am now on my third huge oil painting and loving every moment I get to paint.\n\n\nSheryl Bullard\nI saw Tracy’s beautiful floral paintings at the Main Beach floral festival last year, and couldn’t resist trying to replicate something similar enough to be happy with my result. With Tracy’s gentle and knowledgeable guidance, I was delighted to see a quite amazing resemblance of the roses I was painting coming to life on my canvas. With taking a little step after each little step, anyone can achieve something beautiful.\n\n\nWendy Peters,Woo Art\nI had already attended a watercolour day with Tracy and loved it, and the way she teaches breaking everything down into easily understood sections. I wanted to work on larger canvas in either acrylic or oils and love botanicals, as a new artist I want to get to a level where I feel confident to sell my paintings. I enjoyed every minute of it, Tracy makes everyone feel so welcome and included, her enthusiasm for art is infectious, she gives everyone confidence that they can achieve what they came for and more. Her knowledge of all media is fantastic and her tips of how to make it easier to achieve great results are invaluable. Thorough detailed notes are given to refer to at home., she is so generous with her information. I was struggling with blending oils to a consistency where I could achieve the results I was looking for, this was explained and demonstrated and made easy. I came home with the confidence to create large botanical canvases, how to see values, assess colour, blend, finishes, getting image onto canvas and so much more…. I will definitely attend more of Tracy’s workshops, I can’t recommend her highly enough. Close Flower 3 1/2 day Botanical workshop.\n\n\nDebby Morris\nI have always wanted to paint large flowers but didn’t know how to approach it. So I decided to get help from the professionals at Articci. I had a fantastic experience. The art room was very inviting and had a very happy ambience, a place that inspired me to paint. Love the floral decor and the beautiful floral paintings around the room. The whole weekend was one of the best learning opportunities for art I have had. All the participants were friendly and Tracy, Sonya and Angela were very supportive, and I think that everyone felt comfortable and inspired to paint. Tracy’s way of teaching was casual but also very informative, she was always there when direction was needed. It was easy to learn from Tracy. The catering for the whole weekend was gourmet and such a variety to choose from. Beautiful!! I had never used water soluble oil paints before and I just love the way they perform! Just as good as oils, without the smell and messy clean up. I also learnt that these water soluble oil paints are just oil paints with modified linseed oil that enables water clean up and less odour. I achieved the confidence to paint large flowers successfully and also the desire to chase my dream of selling my artwork.\n\n\nTania Salisbury\nI enjoy exploring my creative side and thought this sounded like a lovely weekend to learn a new medium. I had completed a course with Articci previously – a Textiles Design course so I knew I liked the course structure and being taught by Tracy and the team. I didn’t question going back to Tracy and Articci when wanting to learn other methods or mediums. It was such a great experience – I loved learning a new medium but what I enjoyed outside of that was the beautiful setting and doing this over a weekend with a lovely group of like minded people. The class was made up of a mix of levels of talent so you could feel comfortable being a learner like myself (never having painted in acrylics and oils) amongst those that had before. I learned the method of painting close up flowers in acrylic and oils for a learner like myself as well as the method of paint blending with some neat tricks and tips.\n\n\nAnnette Drummond-Hills\nI wanted to learn how to use water-soluble oils and how to paint realistic flowers on a large canvas. I loved the atmosphere of the studio, being with like-minded fellow students and learning from Tracy and being looked after by Sonya. I learnt how to look at a photo and break it down petal by petal, how to look for the shadows and lights to provide depth and movement to the flowers and how-to tips and techniques for using water-soluble oils. Tracy is a very motivational and enthusiastic teacher that enjoys sharing her years of knowledge and love of painting. Tracy wants every student to go beyond their own expectations and abilities to produce a high-quality painting that they can be proud of. I am astounded at what I learnt and achieved over the 3 1/2 day workshop. I adore my painting!\n[tcb-script src=”https://feedier.com/js/widgets/widgets.min.js” type=”text/javascript” async=””][/tcb-script]\nLocation:\nShop 43 Level 1, Oasis Shopping Centre, Broadbeach QLD 4218\nREGISTER YOUR INTEREST:\nNext course date doesn’t work for you?\nRegister your interest to be notified of future course dates.
