Atelier Binder Medium dries fast and is waterproof for use with acrylics.<\/p>\n
Recommended to prepare and seal surfaces in preparation for painting with acrylics or oils. As a surface ground it promotes good adhesion of the paint and prevents loss of moisture into the substrate and provides a clear, smooth, non-gritty surface.<\/p>\n
This medium can also be used to isolate and protect touch-dry layers of your painting so techniques like scratch back, glazing and varnishing can be done safely without lifting paint layers.<\/p>\n
May be added directly to paint to increase gloss and create translucent layers, create a tougher paint layer or shorten drying time. Can also be used as an adhesive for collage. Water based and dries to a flexible film.<\/p>\n
