This fun 3 1/2 day workshop with Tracy Saywell will show you how to paint flowers in close up detail using either acrylic paint or water soluble oils. Learn how to capture the breathtaking qualities of flowers from a close focus point of view in both acrylic and water-soluble oils.

Please note: as we have moved to a new studio location inside the Oasis Shopping Centre, Broadbeach, we will no longer be serving lunch included in the course and the price has been reduced accordingly.
WORKSHOP DURATION:
3½ Day Workshop, Thursday runs from 6pm – 9pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday run from 9am – 5pm.
The class begins on Thursday evening with a glass of champagne and some nibbles. You will then choose your reference image and start on your composition. Over the weekend you will paint your masterpiece and share in a catered lunch with the class. On Sunday afternoon we will finish up with champagne drinks while we admire the work of the class.

- Afternoon Class
- Select your reference image and get your canvas drawn up.
Friday
- 9am - 5pm
- Day 1
- Select your medium from acrylics, traditional oils or water mixable oils and learn how to analyse and plan your painting.
Saturday
- 9am - 5pm
- Day 2
- Continue working on your painting, practising your colour mixing and blending techniques.
Sunday
- 9am - 5pm
- Day 3
- Finish off and perfect your painting! Drinks on conclusion with review of your work and tips for finishing off if not completed.
