Use these Gesso Brushes to apply gesso (a white paint-like medium to prime or undercoat an artist canvas before painting), varnishes, glazes, glue or create large washes.
The soft absorbent bristles hold paint well, making them great for watercolour washes as well. These brushes are great for laying down your ground and applying background colours to your canvas.
Featuring a comfortable ergonomic timber handle, an aluminium ferrule and hog bristles that enable a paint or emulsion to be smoothly applied.
