Saunders Waterford® is an exquisite watercolour paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine. This is the superior quality watercolour paper made by St Cuthberts Mill and comes with the Royal Watercolour Society’s endorsement. Made using 100% cotton, the highest quality paper making material, to high archival standards. Each sheet is buffered with calcium carbonate to help defend finished pieces of work from discolouration caused by acids present in atmospheric pollution.
Saunders Waterford Watercolour Blocks contain 12 sheets of high quality, archival, 100% cotton watercolour paper. These blocks are gummed on four sides allowing use directly on the pad. Acid-free, 100% cotton paper and 300 gsm. The paper is sized with gelatin which provides added strength and durability which allows multiple watercolour washes and is suitable for not just watercolour. You can use this paper for gouache, acrylic, pastel, pen and ink, pencil, charcoal and printmaking.
