Sennelier is regarded as one of the most treasured historical makers of soft pastels. Sennelier’s soft pastels were first made for Edgar Degas and they have been used by the likes of Cezanne, Gauguin, Monet and Modigliani.
Sennelier extra soft pastels are wonderfully soft, outstandingly bright, light fast and water soluble. These pastels are composed of the highest quality pure pigments grounded with a natural transparent binder which will bring you amazing results.
This set of pastels contains 30 half size Sennelier soft pastels. Half sticks have the same amount of pigment and binder as the full sticks, but they are shorter and rounder. The half size enables them to withstand extensive handling and is great for the travelling artist.
