Iridescent Tint Medium by Liquitex adds a pearlescent sheen and transforms your acrylic paint into beautiful iridescent or metallic colours that will not tarnish. It can be mixed with your acrylic paints or used on its own to create a mother of pearl effect. Best results are achieve using transparent or translucent colours although opaque colours can also be used.
Mixes will result in a transparent tint of the colour used from medium to light values (i.e. black will become dark grey). Colours will increase in their iridescent quality and become much more reflective as they dry.
