Bio-containment

Bio-containment

BioSAFE Life Sciences’ Tissue Digester provides the highest level of decontamination for critical BSL3 and BSL4 applications including infectious disease research and bio-defense.
BioSAFE Life Sciences offers a wide range of Tissue Digester configurations to accommodate laboratory containment work-flow considerations including double-door pass-through designs to prevent cross-contamination between classified work areas. A wide range of capacities are available from 11 lbs to 10,000 lbs in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
BioSAFE Life Sciences’ patented alkaline hydrolysis process provides both thermal and chemical sterilization for critical applications including:
  • Prion research: mad cow, chronic wasting disease, Scrapie
  • Anthrax
  • Foot and Mouth disease
  • Biological Warfare Agents: bacteria, rickettsiae, fungi, viruses, toxins, recombinant DNA organisms, recombinant molecules

Anatomic Waste

Anatomic Waste

BioSAFE Life Sciences’ Tissue Digester provides the highest level of decontamination for anatomic waste applications including liquid and solid waste such as animal carcasses and potentially contaminated fluids from necropsy areas.

BioSAFE Life Sciences offers a wide range of Tissue Digesters, laboratory waste decontamination systems and carcass disposal systems to accommodate small to large-size animal carcasses including rodents, swine, sheep, cattle and horses. A wide range of capacities are available from 11 lbs to 10,000 lbs in both horizontal and vertical configurations and are offered in single door and double-door designs with biocontainment seals. Larger sizes in the vertical configuration accommodate ease of loading large animals, un-sectioned, in order to reduce exposure of harmful agents and fluids to the operators. BioSAFE Life Sciences’ patented alkaline hydrolysis process provides both thermal and chemical sterilization for critical applications including:

  • Prion research: mad cow, chronic wasting disease, Scrapie
  • Anthrax
  • Foot & Mouth Disease
Special equipment options are available for processing prion-infected liquids using BioSAFE Life Sciences’ Alkaline Hydrolysis technology. Consult with us for your specific applications.
