300 lbs/hr and 1000 lbs/hr Mobilized Self-Contained System for Ports and Borders

Low to mid-range throughput mobilized sterilization systems are trailer-mounted and self-contained. The continuous feed steam sterilization systems include an integral automated hydraulic lift, integral shredder and steam treatment augers. Units have an integral negative air pressure system with HEPA filtration and a self-decontaminating steam treatment system.

Sterilized waste by-product is landfill compatible and may be suitable for rendering if only animal tissues are processed.

This system is suitable for poultry, small swine, plants, metal cans, wood products and other needs.

Systems include integral steam & electric generators, water supply tanks, on-board small Effluent Decontamination System (EDS-steam heated) and are capable of operating for 24 hours without refueling.

A self-contained compactor is recommended for sterilized waste removal and transport to a renderer or landfill.

Saturated HEPA filters may be destroyed in these units upon completion or within one year, as the user desires.

20,000 lbs/hr Mass Animal Destruction Mobilized System

STI high throughput mobilized sterilization system consists of a utility trailer, which houses the large electrical generator, and a secondary trailer, which houses the large oil-fired steam generator. A separate trailer contains a massive shredder/feed chute assembly with an integral large capacity hopper with a sealed lid.

The feed hopper, which receives the livestock, is under negative pressure to control the release of aerosols during the shredding process via an integral negative pressure air handling system with HEPA filtration.

A massive, heavy duty shredder below the hopper shreds the cattle/livestock and ensures the greatest surface area exposure to steam, which treats the protein and other waste materials.

The shredded materials are conveyor fed to a second BioSAFE Engineering trailer containing two large pressurized steam treatment augers, further elevating the materials to boiling temperatures. As livestock is sterilized with steam, fats are rendered out of the process. They are then pumped to yet another BioSAFE Engineering trailer which contains a high capacity Effluent Decontamination System (EDS-steam heated) to ensure sterilization of liquids and fats.

These liquids are then pumped into tanker trucks which transport the sterilized liquids to a rendering facility or to a sanitary sewer for final disposal. Walking floor trailers (2) receive the treated/shredded materials which then transport the sterilized waste materials to a rendering facility or to the landfill as desired.

The system is capable of operating 24 hours per day, provided an ample supply of oil/diesel fuel and water are delivered. Fuel, to fire the steam generator and electrical generator, and water are supplied via support vehicles.

This system is self-decontaminating during operation.

When work is completed, the saturated HEPA filters may be destroyed in this unit upon completion or within one year, as user desires.
